A constant search for excellence
BLK (Beyond Limits Known) is widely recognised as being at the cutting edge of the Sports Teamwear industry through is constant search for excellence in the design and manufacture of Teamwear for all sporting codes. Although still predominantly worn by Australian Super Rugby and Australian Football League teams, BLK has spread its wings into South Africa with The Sharks and is also evident in the International arena, being worn by a number of teams including Fiji and USA on the Sevens circuit and also by teams playing in Europe’s top Club competitions such as Connacht and The Ospreys in the UK, and Stade Toulouse in France.
BLK is also beginning to make its mark in other sports having recently been awarded the contract to supply all Referees in the English Rugby League competition and also winning the contract to be the preferred Teamwear supplier for the World Netball champions, Australia. The range has been expanded to now include Teamwear for sports such as Football, Cricket and Hockey and the range of Casual wear ( golf shirts, T-shirts, shorts, etc ) is of such high quality that participants in Individual sports such as Golf, Tennis and Squash are now turning to BLK for their Sport apparel.
Perhaps the biggest advantage that BLK has over its competitors lies in the unique DYO (Design Your Own) facility that is available on the website , www.blksport.com . This facility allows existing and prospective customers the opportunity to design Teamwear according to their own unique colours and designs or to design kits for special events such as ‘once-off’ tours or celebrations.
In South Africa, the BLK Teamwear is manufactured at the Impahla Clothing factories in Elsies River, Epping and Maitland, thereby providing employment opportunities to local communities. The Maitland factory is also Africa’s first carbon-neutral facility illustrating the manufacturer’s dedication to playing its part in the preservation of our environment.
